Market Manager
Christine Hawks
As the manager of the Worthington Farmers Market and a small business marketing and business strategy consultant, Christine is an ambassador for local food and entrepreneurs. When she’s not exploring her favorite markets, she’s in her kitchen making a new recipe from her ever-expanding cookbook collection, tasting her way through the city’s tacquerias or hiking the trails with her mischievous, blueberry-eating whippet, Tru.
Christine has an education in Hospitality Management from Washington State University and has built her career in the fields of event management, marketing and sales. Originally a west coast native, she has made her home in the Northland community.

Assistant Market Manager
Karen Chrestay
Welcome, Karen Chrestay, to The Worthington Partnership team as our new Assistant Market Manager!
Karen most recently helped newly launched food businesses grow their concepts as the General Manager and Compliance Officer at the shared commercial kitchen, 1400 Food Lab.
Supporting small businesses and being active in the local food community is part of Karen's DNA. From an early age, Karen was inspired by the hard-working values instilled in her by her Grandma Loan. Karen fondly remembers days spent on the family farm where she learned how to raise, preserve and prepare food.
Professionally, Karen has channeled her passion for food and entrepreneurship through a successful career in communications, public relations, and event planning and she has owned and operated her own catering business.
As the Assistant Market Manager, Karen will oversee our SNAP/EBT and Produce Perks programs, coordination of our community programming and producer compliance.
