A Proud Veggie SNAPS Partner

With support of the City of Columbus, the Franklin County Commissioner, Wholesome Wave, and the Puffin Foundation West, Veggie SNAPS provides individuals enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) with a monetary incentive to purchase produce at participating farmers markets.

Veggie SNAPS has benefits to shoppers and growers alike. They allow more customers the opportunity to purchase the healthy, locally-grown ingredients that had previously been cost-prohibitive. Additionally, increased sales to new customers also make both growers and farmers’ markets more economically viable.
