Market Sprouts with Cynthia's Flowers

Join us tomorrow, January 20 from 9 AM - 12 PM to make paper flowers to share with local hospitals. Market goers can donate their flowers or take it to someone with cancer who needs some extra cheer.

Cynthia Rudolph passed away at age 40 from lymphoma leaving behind a husband and young son. As a patient, no matter what Cynthia faced - she always stayed positive. It was important to her that others could still see beauty in life despite having to go through cancer treatments like herself. Due to weak immune systems and the risk of infection on inpatient cancer floors, live plants and flowers are prohibited. Cynthia’s desire to add some cheerfulness drove her to develop a simple solution: create brightly colored flowers made from tissue paper.
