Worthington Farmers Market: June 16

Open Mic at the Market

The Worthington Farmers Market features a vibrant mix of local and visiting musicians, both featured and impromptu street performers that add to the festive atmosphere. Music and the spirit that comes with it are important to the market and its patrons.

In partnership with Music Go Round Stores of Columbus, Worthington United Methodist Church, and musician, Chip Woods, the market will host a weekly "open-mic" on the lawn of United Methodist Church. Music that is upbeat, family-friendly and skillfully presented by solo and duo performers is welcome.

Performers of all ages are welcome to sign in upon arrival and beginning at 8:30 AM. Performances will be organized into 15 or 30-minute slots beginning at 10 AM. Space is not guaranteed. Music Go Round will provide speakers, microphones and cords. All you need is your instrument! (And it doesn't hurt to bring a connecting cord, too, if you have one.)
