An Inconvenient Herd Book Signing with John Wiley of Up the Lane

Fueled by idealism and curiosity, the herd follows a bike path into the big city, chasing a dream of a new way of life. The good-natured cattle make lots of friends, but life in town is complicated. They encounter religion, local politics, and manicured lawns. Meanwhile, Farmer is frantically searching for the wayward cows, racing to save them from the perils of celebrity and the urban machine before it's too late.

An Inconvenient Herd, the novel by John Wiley, farmer and owner of Up the Lane will debut at the Worthington Farmers Market this Saturday, August 18. Join us to celebrate John and the completion of his "high-methane fun... could be a runaway hit!" novel!

"It’s about cows and it’s funny. I am fairly exhausted after four years on this project. But I am pleased the way it turned out—I think it’s a pretty good read and sometimes very funny. It still makes me laugh. I need to rest a little, start on another book," says John.
