Do good for your mind, body and being by enjoying the benefits of yoga, while visiting the Worthington Farmers Market!

Join Jade Yoga and Wellness for a 1-hour yoga session (all levels) inside their studio at The Shops at Worthington Place, starting at 12:15 pm on the second Saturday of the month, directly after market. Mark you calendars - December 8, January 12, February 9, March 9 and April 13.

Bring your own mat, towel and water bottle. Classes are free and open to everyone, regardless of ability. For those who would like to make a donation of any amount, please visit the market information table.

Don't be intimidated by a full parking lot! Use any of the lots indicated below.

Many chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease have been shown to be associated with inflammation. Numerous studies have shown that pomegranate has anti-inflammatory properties. Pomegranate has also been shown to lower blood pressure via its effect of relaxing the inner lining of the blood vessels. Pomegranate has strong anti-oxidant effects, reducing oxidized LDL "bad" cholesterol and boosting glutathione content perhaps the most important anti-oxidant in our bodies. Finally, pomegranate has been shown to help diabetics better control their blood sugar by increasing insulin responsiveness and improving beta cell function. (1)(2)

The Old Worthington Partnership is pleased to announce that COhatch is furthering its investment in the Worthington community. Together the organizations will continue to drive initiatives to bring positive attention to the historic district, and support professional development and educational seminars for local merchants and business owners. The Partnership also will support soon-to-be-announced COhatch community events geared toward improving the lives of local residents.

COhatch will provide funding, hosting venues and people resources to help design and plan future programs for the community in collaboration with the Old Worthington Partnership. You will also see the COhatch airstream trailer, a multi-purpose office on wheels named "Mobi" at various events to be held throughout the remainder of 2018 and into 2019.

Thanks to COhatch for bringing energy and resources to Old Worthington! We are thrilled to work even more closely together to enhance the Old Worthington experience.
