It's the last indoor Worthington Farmers Market of the season - April 27

This is It!
The Last Indoor Market for the Season!
Thanks a bunch for supporting our producers throughout the fall and winter season by shopping the Worthington Farmers Market - Indoor Market! We move outdoors next Saturday, May 4 with the opening bell at 8am!
To celebrate the opening of outdoor market season, we'll be hosting a table with family-friendly activities at the Worthington First Wednesdays! Brought to you by Experience Worthington and sponsored by COHatch, this month's activities are focused on STEM. Find us on Dewey's Plaza for hands-on STEM fun, farm-style, this Wednesday evening, from 5pm-8pm.

The Market Wellness Doctor's Weekly Health Tip

Lifestyle Matters. How we eat, move, sleep and manage stress has an enormous impact on health and longevity.
Health Tip #42: Three Steps to Better Health
#1 - Do an elimination diet for 4-6 weeks.
Cut out gluten, dairy, corn, sugar, alcohol and soy. Keep a daily symptom diary and take note of how you feel.
#2 - Eat real, organic whole foods daily.
Plan your meals around plant-based foods (~70%) including three servings of greens, three servings of brightly colored fruits and veggies and three servings of sulphur-rich veggies like onions, garlic and crucifers (cauliflower, kale, red cabbage, radish, etc.).
Eat a serving of nuts/seeds daily and use healthy fats like olive oil, avocado, coconut oil and ghee daily.
Eat ~30% clean, lean organic protein like grass fed beef, chicken and wild cold water fish such as salmon, cod, mackerel or sardines.
Learn to cook.
Drink clean, mineral rich water approximately half your body weight in ounces daily. (Example: 200 pounds body weight equals 100 ounces water daily).
#3 - Learn to meditate and practice daily.
Meditation has been scientifically shown to reduce blood pressure and cortisol levels. It can improve blood flow while reducing heart rate. Regular meditation can also help to reduce the risk of heart disease, reduce pain and enhance immune function, improve energy and enhance memory while reducing cognitive decline, improve sleep and positively impact eating behavior and body weight. Be well,
