The Market Wellness Doctor's Weekly Health Tip
Visit the Market Wellness Doctor, stall #74, near Dewey's Plaza
Lifestyle Matters. How we eat, move, sleep and manage stress has an enormous impact on health and longevity.
Health Tip #43: Sweat Daily! Get Healthy!
Studies confirm that sweating is the most effective way to get rid of toxic chemicals that we are exposed to daily through the foods we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. Eating organically and drinking mineral-rich, filtered water is the first step to reduce the daily body burden by reducing the input of toxic chemicals.
Sweating works by effectively removing the chemicals that we have already been exposed to. These chemicals include persistent, organic pollutants like insecticides and pesticides, phthalates (plasticizers), heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium and aluminum and Bisphenol A (BPA), an endocrine disrupting chemical found in canned foods, plastic water bottles and register receipts.(1),(2)
It doesn't matter if you sweat through exercise or through exposure to a warm environment like a sauna or a warm summer day. The key is to sweat daily!

Be Well,
