The indoor Market begins at 9am, one hour later than our outdoor Market. So, sleep in a little and then join us on Saturday, November 2, from 9am to 12pm, inside the Shops at Worthington Place on High Street.

Sweater Pumpkins are Back!

Fall is finally in the air and even the pumpkins are bundling up!

This week's Community Table host is PEO, an international Philanthropic Educational Organization. The local chapter will have a booth in the Graeter's parking lot, near Everest restaurant.

PEO Chapter AV will be selling sweater pumpkins, pictured above, this Saturday. Each pumpkin is unique and is handmade from recycled sweaters in a variety of colors and sizes. The pumpkins are $10 each or 3/$25. All the funds raised will be used to provide scholarships and educational loans to women at all levels of education.

Get Spooky with Us!

We're celebrating our last Saturday outdoors AND the weekend before All Hallows Eve with a family-friendly Pumpkin Party!

Between now and October 26, shop the Market for all things pumpkin - From pies to pie pumpkins to decorative gourds. Then, on Saturday, October 26, dress up for the Market and bring your most festive, decorated pumpkin.

We'll display all pumpkins along the wall near the Market Information booth for a pumpkin pageant where you can vote for the jolliest jack-o-lantern. The winner will receive a Market treat bag!

Saum Family Farm has a great selection of decorative pumpkins for decorating and carving.

The Market Wellness Doctor's Weekly Health Tip

Visit Dr. Matt in booth #74, near Dewey's Plaza

Lifestyle Matters. How we eat, move, sleep and manage stress has an enormous impact on health and longevity.

Health Tip #65: Consider Meditation before Medication!

Many medical doctors are now prescribing meditation before medication for many chronic medical conditions. The biochemical and physical benefits of meditation are now well documented and it is free of harmful side effects that are often present with many medications.

Meditation has been scientifically shown to lower blood pressure, decrease inflammation (an underlying problem in many of today's chronic disease), improve sleep, mood and digestion, while reducing stress.

Regular meditation can restore balance and heal your body. Ask your doctor about meditation before medication.

See you at the Market!
