Downtown Historic Worthington

Sun's Out . . . Hoops Out!

We're celebrating the first warm, sunny Saturday of our outdoor season with Hula Hoops on the Green! Give a warm welcome to Tasya Lacy, founder of Hoopfitness, our host for this free fitness class, Saturday from 8am-9am on the Southeast Village Green.
Hoopfitness is a low Impact full body fitness workout where weighted and unweighted Hula Hoops are used. Hula Hooping is a Heart Healthy workout, good for all ages. Hula Hoops will be available on a first come, first-served basis for use in the class or bring your own!

Having recovered from a "widow maker" heart attack in 2016 that required catherization and three stents to open a 99 percent blockage in her main coronary artery, Tasya found her purpose helping others. Through Hoopfitness, Tasya promotes the importance of activity for a heart healthy lifestyle.
Learn more about Tasya's story here: https://www.goredforwomen.org/.../real-women/tasya-lacy
We'll see you THIS Saturday at 8:00am on the Southeast Village Green, then stay to shop the Market at 9am!

Music at the Market
Violinist Lucia Cassell-Ramirez will be playing this Saturday in front of Olde Village Barbershop.

Paul Graham is a resident of old Worthington. He is a singer/songwriter/guitarist/composer in the Americana Music genre, who has been playing and performing for over 40 years. He plays solo and in various combinations with other musicians. He writes original songs and original instrumental compositions and covers a wide range of rock, folk, country, blues and bluegrass songs. You can find Paul by the United Methodist Church.

Perry Middle School Orchestra
We are 6th Graders who currently attend Perry MS in Worthington. We're busking to raise money for an upcoming field trip to Cedar Point and will use the funds to purchase tickets on behalf of those who are financially struggling. We'll be playing 9:00-10:30am on the Southeast Village Green

The Worthington Squares is a group made up from Columbus folk Music Society people that have been involved with the Worthington market for over 10 years providing Folk music at the outside market and the Mall. They'll be playing on the Southeast Village Green, 10:30am to Noon.

Old Time Sound Machine consists of Sean Strothman on fiddle, Ian Dyer on banjo, and Sean Fen on guitar. We love old time music, which is traditionally fiddle-based dance music dating back hundreds of years and has evolved in many ways over that time. We were all Rambling House regulars once upon a time where Sean Fen has called many square dances. We love this music and we love to share it with others. Find us in front of Jet's Pizza on Saturday!

Masks Are Optional

Effective Thursday, March 10, the Worthington city ordinance that required masks in indoor public places has been lifted. Facial coverings are now optional throughout the City of Worthington.
We will have a limited supply of masks available at the Market information desk (located at the corner of S. High Street & New England Avenue in front of the Graeter's Ice Cream and House Wine parking lot), should you wish to wear one while visiting the Market.
We will continue with our other proactive measures to help reduce the spread of illness including having hand sanitizer available throughout the Market and increased spacing between producer booths.
If you have a fever or are feeling ill, we ask that you please stay home.
